ICT Welcomes New Staff, Says Goodbye to Peggy

ICT welcomes Michael Johnson as the new research engineer. Michael joins Greg Renshaw, David Lippert, and Shenghua Wu on the engineering team to offer support to projects at ICT. He will be assisting with various ICT research projects, conducting lab and field experiments, determining and maintaining equipment needs for experiments, and training researchers and students on testing and design procedures for safe lab practices and reliable test results. Michael is a registered Professional Engineer who brings 20 plus years of professional experience, primarily in private industry in the transportation construction sector, to ICT and hails from Paxton, IL.

ICT also welcomes Patty Altstetter to our team as a research projects coordinator. Patty’s primary responsibilities will be to coordinate and monitor the ICT/IDOT research projects. Patty has experience in managing, improving, and implementing projects, while improving efficiencies.

We are excited to have both on the team!

Current ICT team member, Peggy Currid accepted a position within the Mathematics Department and her last day with ICT was April 26th. ICT would like to thank Peggy for her contributions to ICT and the Project Management team over the past five years. Her hard work has been appreciated by all.
