1) Transportation systems analysis, evaluation, and asset management; 2) Statistical and econometric methods for transportation demand modeling, pavement and bridge performance modeling, and roadway safety analysis; 3) Optimization, and risk and uncertainty modeling for transportation infrastructure systems, dynamic traffic networks, and logistics problems; and 4) Simulation modeling for Intelligent Transportation Systems applications.
