  Documentation of Contract Quantities Training

Summary of Project:
  This project is responsible for training and testing the competency of consultants, state employees, and local agency personnel regarding "IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities." The project plans and provides a 3-day training class, with competency testing, required for certification to perform supervisory duties on a Phase III construction job for IDOT, Tollway, and CDOT contracts. The project maintains a registry of personnel that have taken and passed the class. Project personnel are responsible for developing the class content and materials, presentating the 3-day classes, testing personnel, and maintaining the registry.
Objective of Project:
  The objective of this project is to train and test the competency of consultants, state employees, and local agency personnel regarding "IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities." The project plans and provides a 3-day training class and test that is required for certification to perform supervisory duties on a Phase III construction job for IDOT, Tollway, and CDOT contracts.
Expected Outcome:
  Well-trained, prequalified consultants to perform construction inspection in Illinois.
