This is a Special Project requested by IDOT that required a quick turnaround on an urgent concern: damaged bridge columns in the City of Chicgo. This specific project will evaluate damage in various Chicago bridge columns, including at the Kingery Bridge, and advise IDOT on the need for rehabilitation.

The objective of these Special Project funds is to ensure the ability to provide a robust and quick turnaround on important, urgent, small research projects. During this specific project, ICT evalulated damage in various Chicago bridge columns, including at the Kingery Bridge, and advised IDOT on the need for rehabilitation.

| Expected Outcome: |

To complete and produce evaluations on identified bridge columns identified by IDOT; and to make recommendations for rehabilitation, if needed.
