  Truck Parking Facilities Program Design

Summary of Project:
  In this study, the research team will assess the need for truck parking facilities and create and present a regional program design to the Illinois Department of Transportation for its review and consideration. In the design stage, the research team will list parking shortages based on inputs from the trucking industry, consult with public and private sectors on potential locations and providers/vendors, establish a short list of locations to address shortages, and identify potential entities to provide additional facilities going forward.
Objective of Project:
