Summary of Project:
  The project aimed to develop a computer based decision support system for manpower planning in each highway maintenance field section. In contrary to two existing studies, which provide fixed static manpower requirements, this project proposed using historical data within computer software. This way, decision makers can appropriately modify parameters or update historical data. A very important feature will be the ability to use the system on a rolling horizon basis, i.e., to obtain the modified manpower requirements at any future point in time. In addition, what-if analysis will be readily available.
Objective of Project:
