ICT and UI Transportation Group Present Research at 87th Annual TRB Meeting

The ICT/UIUC transportation group had a strong presence at the Transportation Research Board 87th Annual Meeting which convened in Washington D.C. on January 13-17, 2008. The ICT/UIUC researchers presented their cutting edge research on 40 topics (see list below) and participated in various committee meetings and other conference activities.

Approximately 10,000 transportation officials from around the world attended this conference which covers all transportation modes, with more than 3,000 presentations in nearly 600 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees that included policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. For more information on this conference, visit http://www.trb.org/meeting.

The ICT/UIUC attendees also enjoyed mingling and dinner with alumni of the UI Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at an alumni reception at Petits Plats on Tuesday evening (see pictures posted).
