IDOT Documentation Certification Training

ICT recently opened registration for the 2009-2010 Documentation of Contract Quantities Class. All consultants who perform construction inspection (Phase III) work for IDOT must take and pass this class.

In 2008-2009, ICT offered 13 three-day classes that were attended by a total of 417 students. So far, ICT has registered hundreds for the current season of classes and retests.

This course assures well-trained, prequalified consultants to perform construction inspection in Illinois. This course is also offered to full-time IDOT and local agency personnel, which helps ensure that quality construction and documentation practices are followed throughout the state. Additionally, ICT has been able to build processes, such as web-based registration and an enrollment database, that will aid in the facilitation of future ICT technology transfer activities.
