Three University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign graduate students and Prof. Christopher Barkan attended the 8th World Congress on Railway Research in Seoul, Korea.  Chris Barkan, Darwin Schafer and Yung-Cheng Lai presented papers.  Darwin Schafer won the "Prize for Young Researcher" for his paper.
