08-03: DEVELOPING TOOLS TO EVALUATE ROADWAY LIGHTING LEVELS FOR STATE AND LOCAL AGENCIES

The overall objective of this research is to develop a new, or improve upon an existing, lighting measurement system that will help state and local agencies better evaluate street lighting levels and prioritize roadway lighting improvement projects.

The ideal measurement system would safely collect massive lighting data in short periods of time, minimize the risk exposure for the data collection personnel, and maximize productivity.
