Pavement Design, Management and Materials 

The Pavement Design, Management and Materials Technical Advisory Group determines research needs and priorities involving pavement design and procedures, performance, management systems and subgrade and embankment. This TAG also determines needs involving design and procedures for pavement rehabilitation, hot-mix asphalt and Portland cement concrete materials, new materials for highway applications and recycling reclaimed materials.

The contact and Pavement Design, Management and Materials TAG chair is Brian Pfeifer, who serves Illinois Department of Transportation’s Office of Highways Implementation in the Central Bureau of Materials.
