Transportation faculty, staff, and students, along with their families, gathered at ATREL on December 3 to celebrate the holiday season and the year’s accomplishments. After dinner, the guests enjoyed a visit from Santa.
During the event, ATREL Director and Professor Al-Qadi recognized those who received awards during 2009 and joined his colleagues in giving special recognition to Professor Emeritus Ernie Barenberg for his lifetime achievements and contributions to the UI transportation group and concrete industry.
