lllinois Center for Transportation’s research projects range from theoretical to full-scale field testing and evaluation of transportation challenges in Illinois and beyond. Our research is organized around three strategic pillars: smart mobility, transportation infrastructure and electrification.
Our efforts not only produce top-quality graduates, but we also have an impact in our local and global communities. ICT’s research is conducted by investigators at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as well as experts at other universities and research agencies across the country.
