Barry Dempsey to Receive Horonjeff Award at TRB

Barry Dempsey, Professor Emeritus and Principal Investigator for numerous UIUC transportation research projects, has won the ASCE Horonjeff Award, which will be presented at the 87th Annual TRB meeting in January. 

This award represents a career of effort and honors Barry for his outstanding achievements in, and contributions to the advancement of the field of air transportation engineering.

The award carries the name of Robert Horonjeff (1913-1976) who was a leader in development of the field of air transportation engineering and a very active member of ASCE.
