The ICT/UIUC transportation group had a strong presence at the 89th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) which convened in Washington, D.C., on January 10-14, 2010. ICT/UIUC presented its cutting-edge research on 29 topics, participated in various committee meetings and other conference activities, and mingled with friends and colleagues at the annual UIUC Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) alumni reception.

More than 200 attendees enjoyed the UIUC alumni reception held at the Lebonese Taverna. The ICT displayed its exhibit banners and distributed informational materials at this annual event (see photos posted).
Approximately 10,000 transportation officials from around the world attended this conference which covers all transportation modes, with more than 3,000 presentations in nearly 600 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees that included policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions.
