ICT Researchers Implement Highway Incident Management Training Guide

The State of Illinois will soon have its own highway incident management training guide for all the incident responders. SIUE research team, Dr. Hugo Zhou, Dr. Ryan Fries, and two student researchers, are currently working on the draft final training materials. This training material was developed based on the statewide need assessment, survey and comprehensive literature review. An informational CD, including 365 manuals, handbooks, and training materials, has been published on the website. Two pilot training classes will be held in April and May, 2011, respectively.
