Fee changes for the Documentation of Contract Quantities course will take effect July 1, lowering the cost to $275 for consultants. Course fees for Illinois Department of Transportation and local government agency personnel will remain the same at $50.

Registrants will now enroll in a course and pay the associated fee each time to attempt certification or recertification. The retest option will no longer be available.

Courses will continue to be held online and each course will run from the first of the month through the 15th of the following month at 11:59 p.m. to allow adequate time to complete the certification exam. For example, August 2021 course registrants will have from Aug. 1 through Sept. 15 at 11:59 p.m. to review the course materials and take the exam.

All changes take effect July 1.

April, May and June 2021 full class and retest registrants will have through their provided deadlines to earn a passing score. Those who do not pass will need to register for a new course and pay the updated fees to become certified. No exceptions will be made.

Registration for the next DOC course opens July 1. To receive registration announcements, join the notification list.
