Illinois Center for Transportation is pleased to welcome Sameer Sanadi as the newest addition to its team, serving as a Program Specialist.

Sanadi provides program support and administrative direction for ICT research projects and communications. He also manages ICT’s website and social media accounts, working to enhance the center’s digital presence.

"I'm excited to work on innovative transportation projects, collaborate with talented experts and contribute to advancements like I-ACT, which push the boundaries of smart mobility and make a positive impact on the future of transportation,” Sanadi said.

One of his key goals is to apply his Project Management Professional certification and expertise to ICT’s research initiatives, ensuring efficient coordination across stakeholders. He also aims to grow ICT’s online community by creating engaging content that effectively communicates the center’s mission.

Sanadi holds a master’s degree in technology management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MBA with dual majors in marketing and operations management from the Indian Institute of Management, Jammu, and a bachelor’s degree in information science engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in India.

Before joining ICT, Sanadi worked as an academic manager for the Education Justice Project at the University of Illinois, overseeing academic programs, student records and faculty communications for a college-in-prison initiative.

Outside of work, Sanadi enjoys playing table tennis, traveling and collecting fridge magnets from every destination he visits. He is also a devoted fan of “The Office” and loves rewatching the show.

“ICT has such a positive work environment,” he said. “My colleagues have been welcoming and inclusive, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the exciting work being done here.”
