James Hall and Eleftheria Kontou showcase career highlights in the March-April 2021 edition of the Transportation Research Board’s magazine, TR News.
Hall, an associate professor emeritus at the University of Illinois Springfield and former information systems manager at Illinois Department of Transportation, unveils his 25-year career in transportation in the magazine. The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering alumnus also shares his passion for technology.
Kontou, an assistant professor at UIUC’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, discusses her involvement with TRB. She unfolds how being involved with the transportation organization has impacted her career as well as some of her favorite memories from the annual meeting in Washington, D. C.
