Illinois Center for Transportation is pleased to announce that it is soliciting Illinois Department of Transportation Research Needs.
The deadline is Oct. 1, 2020, to submit a research idea to IDOT for consideration at the Spring 2021 executive committee meeting.
Research Needs posted by Technical Advisory Groups are as follows:
- Construction
- Environment
- Pavement Design, Management and Materials
- Planning
- Public and Intermodal Transportation
- Safety Engineering
- Structures, Hydraulics and Geotechnical
- Traffic Operations and Roadside Maintenance
All research ideas submitted by the deadline will be reviewed and prioritized by IDOT’s TAGs. The top research ideas are sent to the IDOT-ICT Executive Committee for review and approval.
