RILEM Conference

The 7th RILEM International Conference on Cracking in Pavements was held in Delft, The Netherlands, on June 20-22, 2012. It was organized under the auspices of the RILEM Technical Committee CAP-210 Cracking in Asphalt Pavements by Delft University of Technology in cooperation with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the National Technical University of Athens. 

The conference aimed to provide an international forum for the exchange of ideas, information and knowledge among experts involved in advanced constitutive modeling and pavement analysis, advanced material characterization techniques, material production, design and construction of pavements. Imad Al-Qadi delivered a speech on behalf of the international pavement community honoring the lifetime contributions of André Molenaar at his formal retirement ceremony.

The conference proceedings are published by Springer and include contributions originating from 32 different countries.

In addition, the 2nd International Workshop on Asphalt Mastics was held on June 18, 2012, under the auspices of the ISAP TC on Constitutive Modeling of Asphaltic Materials and work meetings of RILEM TC MCD and Task Groups 01 and 06 of RILEM TC SIB on June 19, 2012.
