The 58th Annual Illinois Bituminous Paving Conference will take place on December 11–12, 2017, at the iHotel and Conference Center in Champaign, Illinois. The Bituminous Conference is a compact one-day program providing an opportunity for highway engineers to meet with contractors, government officials, consultants, and fellow engineers. Professionals gather to share the latest technical information and review actual field reports in the area of hot-mix asphalt construction. The conference is specifically designed for people actively involved in asphalt construction such as highway engineers; government officials responsible for developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating contractor regulations affecting bituminous construction; contractors; consultants; university researchers; and representatives of firms supplying goods and services to the industry.
The International Conference on Highway Pavements and Airfield Technology is hosted by the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Transportation and Development Institute in Philadelphia, PA, and will take place on August 27–30. This year’s theme, “Sustainable Pavements and Safe Airports,” will bring together researchers in pavements and airport safety technologies, designers, and academics from around the world to discuss design, implementation, construction, rehabilitation alternatives, instrumentation and sensing, and research updates.
The 10th ACI/RILEM International Conference on Cementitious Materials and Alternative Binders for Sustainable Concrete presents the latest scientific and technical information in the field of cementitious materials and binders for use in concrete. The conference, scheduled on October 2–4 in Montreal, Canada, highlights advances in the field of alternative and sustainable binders and supplementary cementitious materials.
