Save the date: 67th Illinois Bituminous Paving Conference

The 67th Illinois Bituminous Paving Conference will take place Dec. 8-9 at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, Illinois.

The two-day annual conference brings together transportation professionals from academia, government and industry to explore current challenges and emerging solutions shaping the future of hot-mix asphalt pavement design, construction and performance.

The Dec. 8 workshop will focus on environmental product declarations in Illinois and upcoming Illinois Department of Transportation specifications. The workshop will introduce IDOT’s program and scope as well as examine implementation progress and stakeholder perspectives, followed by a reception.

On Dec. 9, attendees will participate in a full day of technical presentations covering a range of topics, including advanced bituminous materials and technologies, best construction practices, paving equipment, artificial intelligence applications, national policy developments and more.

Registration for this year’s conference will open soon. Attendees may earn professional development hours or continuing education units.
