ATREL hosts holiday party

On December 6, Illinois transportation faculty, staff, students, and their families gathered at the Advanced Transportation Research and Engineering Lab to celebrate the holidays and last year’s accomplishments. After dinner, guests enjoyed a special visit from Santa Claus.

During the event, ATREL director and Professor Imad Al-Qadi recognized the achievements of 2012 and joined his colleagues in congratulating Emeritus Professor Barry Dempsey for his lifetime of career achievements and contributions to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign transportation group.
