ICT-IDOT project wins AASHTO high-value research award

The ICT/IDOT research project Best Practices for Implementation of Tack Coat was designated a 2013 Sweet 16 High Value Research Project by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). The project is one of the top 16 transportation research projects in the nation and the top project for the Midwest region.

ICT director Imad Al-Qadi served as principal investigator for the project. Technical Review Panel members from IDOT were Derek Parish (chair), Steve Harmon, Tim Kell, Richard Mauch, Wayne Philips, Cynthia Williams, and Steven Worsfold.
