Al-Qadi presented Steinberg Award

On January 13, 2014, ICT director Imad Al-Qadi, Founder Professor of Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, was awarded the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s (ARTBA) S.S. Steinberg Award. Al-Qadi was honored during ARTBA’s annual Research & Education Division (RED) meeting in Washington, D.C. Named after the founding president of ARTBA’s RED, the award recognizes individuals who make outstanding contributions to transportation education. ARTBA is the oldest and largest transportation construction trade group in the United States.
