ICT-IDOT projects featured in TRB publications

An article about an ICT project was recently featured in the TRB publication Research Pays Off. The article, “Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement with Steel Slag Aggregate,” was written by ICT investigator Erol Tutumluer, professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and the project’s Technical Review Panel chair, Sheila Beshears, who is the Aggregate Technology Coordinator for IDOT’s Bureau of Materials and Physical Research. Additionally, another ICT project was featured in TRB’s Transportation Research Record. Ashley Reitgraf and Kerrie Schattler of Bradley University wrote “Behavior of Left-Turning Drivers During Permissive Interval of Protected–Permissive Operation: Effect of Signal Display.” The article can be viewed here, and the final ICT reports for this project can be accessed on the ICT website.
