ICT hosts visitors from Tongji University

ICT researchers and students are always excited when visitors come to ATREL to learn more about what ICT does. Recently, a delegation of seven faculty members from Tongji University, China, visited ATREL.

The delegation included Jianming Ling, professor in road and airport engineering and the deputy dean of the School of Transportation Engineering; Hongduo Zhao, chair of the Department of Road and Airport Engineering; Wanjing Ma, executive chair of the Department of Traffic Information and Control; Jian Sun, vice chair of the Department of Traffic Engineering; Huizhao Tu, associate professor in the Department of Road and Airport Engineering; and assistant professor Yuntao Chang. Hailin Chen, general assistant manager of Shanghai International Automobile City, also accompanied the academic delegation.

The visitors discussed various collaboration activities with ICT faculty and engineers, including short-term faculty/student exchanges/visits. After presenting a brief overview of the history of ATREL and the major areas of research conducted at the lab, ICT engineers gave the visitors a tour of the lab facilities, highlighting all the recent improvements and updates.
