UIUC civil engineering graduate program ranked #1

U.S. News & World Report has once again named the civil engineering graduate program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign number one in their “Best Graduate Schools” rankings in the category “Best Engineering Schools: Civil.” The University ranked third in the category “Best Engineering Schools: Environmental/Environmental Health.”

The department has been consistently ranked at or near the top for the past 20 years for both graduate and undergraduate programs. This year, no other programs tied for first, meaning Illinois is the lone number one rank for both undergraduate and graduate categories. New undergraduate program rankings are announced in the fall.
