Buttlar to join faculty at Missouri

ICT joins the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Illinois in bidding a bittersweet goodbye to Bill Buttlar, Associate Dean for Graduate, Professional, and Online Education. Buttlar will be joining the faculty of the University of Missouri–Columbia as the Glen Barton Chair in Flexible Pavement Technology, effective May 16, 2016. 

Buttlar worked on many ICT/IDOT projects throughout his career at the University of Illinois, including his most recent “Designing, Producing, and Constructing Fine-Graded Hot Mix Asphalt on Illinois Roadways” (R27-079) and “Distance Technology Transfer Course Content Development” (R27-073), in addition to serving as principal investigator to two other projects.

ICT recognizes the outstanding work done by Buttlar in his work with us, and we wish him well in his future endeavors!
