Illinois Center for Transportation welcomed several distinguished visitors this spring.

Yinhai Wang, University of Washington Thomas and Marilyn Nielsen Endowed Professor in Engineering, delivered the Annual Kent Seminar Distinguished Lecture, highlighting customized AI and edge computing solutions for transportation.

The Kent Seminar Series brings together leading voices in transportation engineering to explore emerging challenges and innovations shaping the field. View Wang’s talk on ICT’s YouTube Channel.

Other key visitors included Mandy Drendel (Cornerstone Government Affairs), Michael Sturino (Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association), representatives from Instituto Hercílio Randon and Randoncorp, and Rep. Robin Kelly.
