Al-Qadi receives TRB member emeritus appointment

Professor Imad Al-Qadi has been appointed as a Member Emeritus of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Sealants and Fillers for Joints and Cracks (TRB AHD25). TRB established the emeritus membership category to recognize the significant and long-term contributions of individuals who have provided outstanding service through participation in TRB standing committees.

Professor Al-Qadi is currently chair of the TRB subcommittee on Interlayer Systems to Control Reflective Cracking, which he founded. He is also past chair of the TRB Preservation and Maintenance Section and current Member at Large of the Operations and Preservation Group, serving as Chair of its Award Committee. In addition he is past chair of TRB AHD25 and of TRB AFS70-2, Geosynthetics in Flexible Pavement Systems, founded by Al-Qadi, and has served on several other technical committees.
