ICT researchers present TRB webinar

ICT researchers Hasan Ozer, Imad Al-Qadi and Saleh Yousefi recently presented a webinar for the Transportation Research Board that introduced new performance-based sealant grading specifications for hot-poured crack sealants. The findings were based on an ongoing U.S.  Federal Highway Administration Pooled Fund Study entitled, “Field Validation of Performance Guidelines.”

The webinar provided an explanation of the sealant grading system and informed participants about performance grading procedures for sealants, the need for performance grading, and how performance grading could be beneficial in their states.
