Burke named executive vice president of Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association

11/1/2013

The Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association recently announced that Kevin Burke is its new executive vice president. For 20 years, Burke has worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation. He has also played an integral role in Illinois Center for Transportation research — chairing Technical Review Panels for nine projects, acting as a committee member on several others, and serving as a Technical Advisory Group member. Burke’s contributions were recently profiled in the ICT eNewsletter article.

Burke will begin his tenure at IAPA Nov. 1, 2013, and will work alongside current executive vice president Marvin Traylor until the end of the year, when Burke will assume leadership. Traylor states, “Kevin is an impressive young man, and I believe we will be in good hands for many years to come.”
