Bridges and Foundations

The Bridges and Foundations Technical Advisory Group determines research needs and priorities involving bridge, sign and traffic structures, retaining walls, hydraulics and geotechnology and foundation issues.

The contact and Bridges and Foundations TAG chair is Mark Shaffer, who serves Illinois Department of Transportation’s Office of Highway Project Implementation in the Bureau of Bridges and Structures.
