ICT Optimal Mix Design Tool
The Illinois Flexibility Index Test and the Hamburg Wheel-Tracking Test have been used for asphalt concrete balanced mix design in Illinois. This tool provides an initial estimate of binder content and aggregate gradation to meet a preselected flexibility index and rutting depth.
A machine learning framework and a multi-objective genetic algorithm have been implemented to aid in the design of asphalt concrete mixes.
